The government have recently released figures confirming that 60% of the country’s wealth is tied up in property. This is largely due to the fact that property in the UK has risen by more that 2 and a half times over the last 10 years.
The ONS (Office for National Statistics) figure proves how the UK economy and its wealth is highly dependent on and sensitive to the property market.
