"DIY sell your house", seems to be the fad right now with people opting to use internet and newspaper advertising over Estate Agents.
Why is this?
The internet always finds a way to bully middle men out of the way so it was inevitable that hundreds of "do it yourself" websites would pop up and move estate agents out of the market but people are going private, mainly due to speed; estate agents are just not shifting properties fast enough.
There are hundreds of sites on the net but you need to bare in mind that most of them charge and they can only go as fast as estate agents with similar advertising means. It will however be a lot cheaper but the fastest way to sell your house is to at auction or sell to a private investment company. The latter will give you a guaranteed price where as an auction house cannot guarantee when it will go for.
