After watching Jeremy Vines Panorama BBC last night I realized how bad the home repossession crisis is in the UK.
They pointed out how thousands of sub-prime borrowers have been taking out mortgages well beyond their means.
This has generally been the fault of the lenders and their associated brokers. They have been handing out mortgages and loans ‘willy nilly’ leaving borrowers well and truly over extended.
With the property market being so bleak at the moment this problem will only add to the issues by flooding the market with houses for sale.
